Hey! Hope you're having a great Easter Holiday so far. I wouldn't say that any of us have felt homesickness so far but today I felt that I wish I were together with the family. Best case would be if I could've brought them here so that they also got to experience everything we experience.
Well, well. As you know we fell with the scooter (this happened last Friday) and we therefore took a full day after the incident without doing anything special. We devoted Saturday to observe how our bodies felt and what we felt we were "capable" of doing after the "accident". Ate breakfast at the hotel, sorted some pictures, wrote blog posts and read books (by the way, I thought I could share some book tips in another post [as in "when we have no blog-material left"]. We took a short walk to a restaurant near our hotel (in whoch we ate almost every day in Nusa Penida), comforted us with some cookies, coffee and just relaxed. Tim started editing some videos from India that we will post here on the blog when it is ready (very soon). It takes very long time to edit videos and since we only brought one computer it has become difficult for Tim to get time for it because I am using the computer most of the time (pictures and blog). Therefore the video will be a little throwback from January, hehe.
On Sunday we felt ready to do something more exciting so we went over to a small island on the other side of Nusa Penida - Lembongan. We rented a scooter for a few hours and went to Dreambeach and Devils tears (where high waves hit a rock wall and form "tears").
We also saw Mushroom beach but since Tim didn't get to swim yet because of the stitches we didn't stay that long. Instead, we went across the Yellow Bridge to Ceningan Island and saw Mahana Point. We also managed to lose our hotel key during this scooter ride 😂 You can safely say that we haven't been too lucky the latest, haha.
On Monday we continued to Gili Trawangan. We first wanted to go to Gili Air but as it is a little easier, logistically, to go to Gili T + people told us it is better to stay at Gili T we followed that advice.
We didn't like Gili T too much though - a lot of tourists, not so much to do and I think we were asked by at least 5 different people if we wanted to buy all kinds of drugs. First days we just spent at the hotel, the pool and along the beach, playing cards and just relaxed. Ate dinner at Intan In (great for backpackers at Gili T - good and very affordable food!) I tried their curry with Tempeh - the best Tempeh I have ever tried. Okay, I've just tried it a few times but still, haha. Asked to get the curry a little bit spicy too - yummy! 😋

åh, vacker plats, och härliga bilder. Ni ser ut att ha det skönt :)
