DAG 2
Coolt!

Mummies at the volcano. One of the guides said they died from the cold and another one said they died from a volcanic eruption so it is unclear what caused their deth. Some of them even had som hair left on their head and at one spot there were two small child mummies as well. Ugh!

It looks like a human, doesn't it?

Cactus ön.
Cactus Island.
Ut i saltöknen igen. Tog några kort och löjlade oss. Lunch.

Hi my little blog and all readers. We are finally in Stockholm. It was a long and rather uncomfortable journey (British airways have the hardest seats in the world?). We landed at Arlanda while the summer sun went down by 9:30 pm! We've been used to a 5 pm sunrise for months now so we need to get used to the Swedish summer sun. What a lovely weather we brought from Rio😉
We're staying in Stockholm for one more night and Friday morning we take the bus to Karlstad and then car home to the family in Åmål. It will be fun to meet everyone again!
Back to the travel updates.
DAY 2
05:40 alarm went on. I thought we would freeze to death with minus somethinf outside and no heater inside but with the sleeping bag it was quite hot, actually. The breakfast was served (bread and butter with hot drinks) and then we watched the sunrise by the end of the salt desert. So beautiful! 😍 We also went to a museum (which had the worst stuffed animals I've ever seen, haha, that was so bad that it became one of the highlights of the whole trip - and I regret not taking a picture!), we saw mummies and the salt desert from a viewpoint by the volcano. Cool!
We went to the salt desert again. Snapped some photos again and just had a fun time. Lunch. Then to the cactus island. It was really cool 😍. We were in a bad mood for a whilebecause this day wewastet a lot of time because we couldn't go too far since we would "change" the Colombian couple as they only booked two days trip and we had four days. We picked up one English and one French girl and went on to the next night's accommodation ...
