Efter Canyoneeringen i Moalboal åkte vi vidare till en liten ö som heter Suiqijor, där vi befinner oss just nu. Vi åkte kl 5 på morgonen med en redigt överlastad tur-tuk (eller tricycle som de kallar det i Filippinerna) till Moalboal busstation. Den första bussen vi skulle ta var helt överfull så vi fick vänta på nästa buss. Från busstationen Bato var det sedan tur-tuk igen till båtterminalen. Båten tog ca 2 timmar och vi kom fram till en så vacker ö! Här ska vi vara veckan ut.

Denna gången har jag och Tim inte samma boende som Albin och Carro. Vi bor en liten bit ifrån stranden på ett ställe som är lite som en bondgård, fullt med hönor och tuppar som springer omkring i trädgården (och det blir man varse om på nätterna vill jag lova, klockan tre på morgonen börjar tupparna gala, haha).

Första dagen låg vi vid stranden San Juan och bara tog det lugnt. Vi hade i princip stranden helt för oss själva. Vi stannade där ända till solnedgången och tog några bilder - så vackert! På kvällen gick vi och käkade på en restaurang som inte såg så mycket ut för världen men som var riktigt bra. Sizzling pork, chicken adobo och två olika currygrytor med ris åt vi.

Våra frukostar senaste dagarna har i princip sett ut såhär. Vi har tagit moppen och köpt färskt bröd på ett av alla bagerier, ibland har vi haft jordnötssmör på smörgåsarna och så har vi haft frukt till och en kopp kaffe eller te. Så mysigt!

After the Canyoneering in Moalboal we went on to a small island called Suiqijor, where we are right now. We went at 5 in the morning with a reasonably overloaded tuk tuk (or tricycle as they are called in the Philippines) to Moalboal bus station. The first bus we were supposed to take was completely crowded so we had to wait for the next bus. From the Bato bus station, we took another tuk-tuk to the harbour. After the 2 hours boat ride we arrived at such a beautiful island! We will stay here the rest of the week.

This time, Tim and I don't have the same accommodation as Albin and Carro. We live a little bit away from the beach and the accomondaition is in a farmhouse like setting, with chickens and roosters running around in the garden (and you will be aware of this during the nights, as they start crowing 3 am, haha) .

The first day we were at the beach of San Juan and just took it easy. We basically had the beach completely to ourselves. We stayed there till sunset and took some pictures - so beautiful! In the evening we went to a restaurant that didn't look too promising but the food was really good. We ate sizzling pork, chicken adobo and two different curries with rice.

Our breakfasts the recent days have basically looked like this. We have taken the moped and to one of all bakeries here and bought fresh bread, we sometimes had peanut butter on the sandwiches, some fruits and a cup of coffee or tea. So cozy!

It's really really lazy days here😍
