Mums!

Woke up in our campervan yet another day. Went towards Rainbow beach. It was partly rainy so we sat in the campervan with a view of the sea and had breakfast. Soo cozy. We were worn out after the trip so we had a pretty slow tempo this day, read a bit and just relaxed. Went for a little walk along the beach when the rain had passed and then ate lunch.
We then went up the mountain to see Carlow Sandblow. Wow! It was incredible! Like a desert in the middle of town with the sea as backdrop. Went to the supermarket and purchased some... kangaroo meat! We cooked potatoes, fried the meat and made a salad. Now to the important question:
How was it?
Pretty good, actually! A little "wild" feeling to it but at the same time different compared to elk meat for example that we are used to eat in Sweden. We fried it very lightly in the pan because we heard that the meat easily becomes tough. As mentioned, we had potatoes, a bbq sauce and a salad together with the meat. Yum!
Noosa up next. One can say that luxury safari was what we spent the day on. Small canals with nice houses in between them. We got some sunbeams in the morning as well. Then the real rain came and we were happy that we had our campervan to hide ourselves in. We looked at the surfers and ate some "fika". Bought food in a grocery store and then went to the last campsite of our trip in Australia - we like the camping life so much!
Last day we headed even further south to the Sunshine Coast, stopped between the beach and a park where an old man was screaming all day, haha. After we had breakfast there we took a walk along the beach. Went towards Brisbane and the hotel, left the luggage there, refueled and cleaned the van. We were so sad when we had to return the van to the rental company. Went for a walk / ran back to the hotel and spent the evening there with fixing stuff on the computer (had a lot of pictures to sort) drank coffee and repacked the luggage for the trip to Sydney. We'll have to go back to Queensland sometime soon - that's one thing that's for sure!
