One of the evenings was spent on TeamLab "Modern Art Museum" and it basically is a lot of rooms with lapms and visual illusions. There are two studios in Tokyo and we went to the smaller one - "Planets" - so we missed a bit of what we saw earlier in pictures but they had a great deal on weekday evenings so it was worth it. I liked the room with the lamps the best (can you see?). It was very photo-friendly as well;)
Tim is a real meat junkie and of course wanted to try the real Japanese Kobe meat. Although I eat very little meat and not a big fan I have to say that this was the best meat I've ever eaten.
You also goy to cook the meat by yourself so it was an experience in itself. We tried some Japanese red wine (which unfortunately was not a highlight) and lots of yummy side dishes (kimchi, seagrass chips, salad etc). We even got a sushi made of Kobe. The restaurant we went to is called Han No Daidokoro and I can highly recommend it :)
We also booked a karaoke room which you of course must do when visiting Tokyo.
Now I've updated you about some things we did in the Tokyo trip and the next post I'll tell you more about what we've doen in the Philippines so far.😀
